The Girl Effect on Development

At the World Economic Forum in January, the Nike Foundation organised a panel, "four years in the making" to discuss the impact of adolescent girls on the world economy. Focusing efforts on girls, argued Nike Inc. CEO Mark Parker, is a proven effective way to "stem the tide of intergenerational poverty.
